3. Eligibility and Age Requirements

3.1 Minimum Age

• You must be at least 18 years old to rent a bike independently
• Customers aged 16-17 may rent with written parental consent and guardian presence
• Children under 16 must be accompanied by a responsible adult

3.2 Identification Requirements

You must provide valid government-issued photo identification (passport, driving license, or national ID card) and be able to demonstrate your ability to safely operate a bicycle.

4. Bike Rental Terms

4.1 Rental Agreement

Each bike rental constitutes a separate rental agreement. You acknowledge that you are renting, not purchasing, the bicycle and associated equipment.

4.2 Rental Period

• Rental periods are calculated from pickup to return time
• Late returns may incur additional charges
• Extensions must be arranged in advance where possible

4.3 Authorized Users

Only the named renter and authorized additional users (if specified) may use the rented bicycle. You are responsible for all persons who use the bicycle during the rental period.

5. Responsibilities and Obligations

5.1 Renter Responsibilities

• Inspect the bicycle before use and report any issues immediately
• Use the bicycle only for its intended purpose
• Follow all traffic laws and cycling regulations
• Wear appropriate safety equipment (helmet recommended)
• Secure the bicycle when unattended using provided locks
• Return the bicycle in the same condition as received
• Report any accidents, damage, or theft immediately

5.2 Prohibited Uses

You agree not to:

• Use the bicycle under the influence of alcohol or drugs
• Modify, repair, or tamper with the bicycle
• Use the bicycle for racing, stunts, or extreme sports
• Exceed manufacturer weight limits
• Allow unauthorized persons to use the bicycle
• Take the bicycle outside agreed geographical areas
• Use the bicycle for illegal activities

6. Pricing and Payment

6.1 Rental Fees

Rental fees are as displayed on our website or at rental locations. Prices may vary by location, bike type, and rental duration.

6.2 Payment Terms

• Payment is required at the time of booking or pickup
• We accept major credit cards and debit cards
• A security deposit may be required and will be refunded upon safe return

6.3 Additional Charges

Additional charges may apply for:

• Late returns
• Damage or excessive wear
• Cleaning fees
• Replacement of lost items
• Recovery costs for stolen or abandoned bicycles

7. Damage, Loss, and Theft

7.1 Damage Liability

You are liable for any damage to the bicycle beyond normal wear and tear. This includes but is not limited to:

• Mechanical damage from misuse
• Damage from accidents
• Vandalism or intentional damage
• Damage from improper storage or transport

7.2 Theft and Loss

You are responsible for the bicycle's security and will be charged the full replacement value if the bicycle is stolen or lost. You must:

• Use the provided locks at all times when bicycle is unattended
• Report theft to local police and AcconRiaff immediately
• Provide a police report number for insurance claims

8. Insurance and Liability

8.1 Insurance Coverage

Our bicycles are covered by our insurance for normal use. However, coverage may be void if Terms are violated or if damage results from prohibited use.

8.2 Personal Liability

You are advised to have personal liability insurance. We recommend checking with your insurance provider about coverage for bicycle rentals.

8.3 Limitation of Liability

AcconRiaff's liability is limited to the rental fee paid. We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or special damages arising from bicycle use.

9. Cancellation and Refunds

9.1 Cancellation Policy

• Cancellations more than 24 hours before pickup: Full refund
• Cancellations 12-24 hours before pickup: 50% refund
• Cancellations less than 12 hours before pickup: No refund
• No-shows: No refund

9.2 Weather Conditions

Rentals may be cancelled due to severe weather conditions for safety reasons. Full refunds will be provided in such cases.

10. Maintenance and Safety

10.1 Bike Condition

We maintain our bicycles to high safety standards. However, you must inspect the bicycle before use and report any concerns immediately.

10.2 Mechanical Issues

If you experience mechanical problems during your rental:

• Stop using the bicycle immediately if unsafe
• Contact AcconRiaff for assistance
• Do not attempt repairs yourself
• Bring the bicycle to the nearest AcconRiaff location if possible

11. Privacy and Data Protection

Your privacy is important to us. Please review our Privacy Policy to understand how we collect, use, and protect your personal information.

12. Intellectual Property

All content on the AcconRiaff website, including text, graphics, logos, and software, is owned by AcconRiaff or our licensors and is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws.

13. Force Majeure

AcconRiaff is not liable for failure to perform due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including natural disasters, government actions, strikes, or other force majeure events.

14. Dispute Resolution

14.1 Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.

14.2 Jurisdiction
